The school, which this year celebrated its 51st  anniversary, is a well-established All-ability High School, catering for the many and differing needs of all those who are fortunate to be educated in our happy and responsible environment. You will see from the details enclosed that our most able students are accepted into universities and colleges throughout the British Isles and qualify with good honours' degrees, while those students who are more vocationally-minded are encouraged to perform to their highest potential and take their place as responsible adults in the community.

In KILKEEL HIGH, as in life, there is no artificial division between those who succeed and those who do not during the early stages of education; rather, in the one school, all our students mature together and are given equal opportunities to realise their individual capabilities to the full and, at the same time, participate in the many, varied extra-curricular activities which form an important aspect of the spiritual, cultural and recreational development of all young people.

We believe that we are able to offer such advantages because we have dedicated staffs, first-class accommodation and facilities and a committed and progressive Board of Governors.
