Young Consumers Competition

The final of this year's Young Consumers Competition took place at Lagan Valley Island Centre in Lisburn on 5 March.

The Young Consumers Competition is designed to increase consumer awareness among young people and is organised by the Consumer Council and the Trading Standards Service of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment.

Some of Kilkeel High's pupils took part in the final and they were awarded third prize for their valiant efforts.

The organisers of this competition stated that the students were "Wonderful and a credit to their school".
