Home Economics is a subject which studies diet and health, family life and resources. These headings are appropriate in both practical and theoretical contexts.

Some aims within our subject area include stimulating an interest and enjoyment of the subject so that pupils will value the subject as an important contribution towards achievements in school and in life. Pupils will, we hope,  recognise the tremendous contribution Home Economics makes to life beyond school.

Home Economics activities will help pupils develop confidence.
