Facilities

We use ‘Encore Tricolore’(nouvelle edition) with most of our pre-G.C.S.E classes. In Years 11 & 12 this is supplemented by ‘A Vous De Parler’ and ‘En Direct’. We also have classroom sets of all levels of ‘Escalier’, ‘Au Secours’. ‘Au Secours Extra’, ‘S.O.S. Français’, plus some other L.C.P. resources.

We have excellent access to television, video and recording equipment. We have a filmstrip projector, four good quality tape recorders (all with copying facilities), a fast-copier and three P.A.L.E. systems. The departmental computers, with CD-ROMs have proved a valuable resource. Each member of the Department has his/her own laptop. Each classroom has its own television and VCR.
