Some students follow the “A” level course with a “C” grade, but students will find it much easier if they have at least a “B” grade. It is essential that “A” level students enjoy reading as they need to know, not just the texts, but also the views of the critics on the texts they are studying as well as their historical and cultural backgrounds. Students will be finding out how the writer’s life, background and century shaped what s/he wrote about and how s/he wrote it.
